I created the body of the angel to be open and curved, in a welcoming, non-threatening posture. In almost every appearance of an angel to a human recorded in the Bible, the first thing the angel says is “Do not be afraid”. Although angels were a fearsome creature to behold, their greetings were welcoming and comforting and their presence a message of hope.
