Russian Spice Tea

It’s officially Fall, which means it’s time for cozy sweaters, crisp weather and our favorite fall beverages. Just kidding, we have a few months before it will be sweater weather here in the south, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy this spice tea!

Russian Spice Tea is not so much proper tea, as it is a whole jar of Tang, mixed with some instant tea and a few spices. But there is something about it that is so comforting and just tastes like fall. Also, we’re not saying it will cure the common cold, but it definitely FEELS like it will.

We love to keep a large canister of the dry mix on hand in the studio, and just mix into boiling water whenever we need a break from our pumpkin spice coffee.

Russian Spice Tea

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 jar Tang

  • 1/2 cup Lemon Instant Tea (we used Country Time Lemonade/Ice Tea Mix)

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp ground cloves

Mix all ingredients together and store in a jar or canister. Mix one heaping tablespoon of tea mix into one cup of boiling water.

Enjoy!
