When I think about my legacy, I consider what I want my children’s children to know; which is, that I set out to honor my family’s heritage of fine craftsmen and craftswomen by creating a product that is well-made, highly valued, and will be passed down to future generations. 

Each of our handmade wavy bowls has been given a new name to add story, depth and meaning to their everyday purpose. Several of our largest size bowls have been re-tailored and the new sizes are a more perfect shape, and proportion.

So you might be wondering - why did we decide to re-design our best-selling bowls? Great question.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Purposeful Evolution. While keeping the integrity of my designs, my team and I looked closely at what our customer's needs were and evolved the designs to fit those needs.⠀

Careful Curation. Since opening our flagship store and our own website, we have come to understand that customers were having a hard time distinguishing between some of the bowl sizes. So, we tailored our six largest round bowls and combined them into three distinct sizes.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Defined Beauty. Each bowl has been given a new name to add story, depth and meaning to their everyday purpose. Our catalog describes each name in depth while providing stunning visuals illustrating how to use each bowl.

My team and I strive to create handmade products with excellence, and it is our joy and at the heart of our core values at Susan Gordon Pottery to create beauty and elevate everyday living.
