Y'all, I cannot tell you how EXCITED I am to finally be able to show you the diamond version of the Meredith necklace.
It has always been a pipe dream of mine to fold in fine versions of my best-selling jewelry designs using precious materials. A little back-story: My aunt and uncle were in the fine jewelry business for over 30 years. My aunt, who has since passed away, had the most fabulous taste and always dressed and carried herself so beautifully. A little less than a year ago, after reaching some roadblocks, I realized I should reach out to my uncle to help me! He was super helpful in walking me through what to look for and some resources on where to find the best quality materials. It was the fire I needed to keep going.
This necklace represents conquering a huge learning curve for me, months of research, enough emails to fill up a book, perseverance, trust, and believing that I could make this little dream happen.
The sample arrived over a month ago and I haven't hardly taken my necklace off AT ALL (only for spray tans LOL). It has been sweated in, showered in, slept in, and even been in a hot tub and in a pool. It was of utmost importance that it could take daily wear and tear and still look just as beautiful and sparkly.
This piece is delicately beautiful, with a substantial amount of diamonds and gold. It is timeless, yet feels fresh and new. Featuring 1/4 carat of GH/SI beautiful sparkly diamonds set in solid 14K gold and delicately strung on an adjustable solid 14k gold chain.
This would make such a WOW gift for a recent graduate, an anniversary gift or wedding gift from groom to bride. This cross, a symbol of hope and love and healing...a simple reminder of the gift of eternal life and everlasting joy that Jesus paid for with his life.
This necklace releases Friday and the BEST part about this first release is that 10% of gross sales are going to Prescott House, a 501(c)3 that provides services to children who have experienced sexual abuse or exploitation, physical abuse, or have witnessed violent crimes. Prescott House conducts forensic interviews, provides counseling, prevention education as well as coordinates with community agencies that investigate, prosecute, and provide treatment and protection for child victims.
All services at Prescott House are offered at no cost to the child or their families. They serve over 800 children and families each year. Prescott House Child Advocacy Center was founded in 1987 and serves Birmingham, as well as almost 30 municipalities in Jefferson County.
As a small business owner and Birmingham resident, it is important to me to use my position and the opportunities given to me to have a positive impact for the betterment of my community. This charity serves the very people that Jesus directly commanded his people to care for. Their mission is at the heart of what SGP is all about...bringing beauty and healing into everyday life. I am excited that a portion of the proceeds for the first round of purchases of the Meredith Diamond Cross Necklaces will be going to such a worthy cause.
So be sure to mark your calendar for Friday morning at 9am CST when we will be releasing our first round of the Meredith Diamond Cross Necklace.
