How it's made
Each unique piece of pottery, jewelry, art and more starts as a humble wad of squishy clay and is molded by hand into a piece of ceramic art.
These hand-painted ceramic original feature small studies of hydrangea flowers. These tiles are an exploration in pushing the elusive boundary between art and craft, 2D and 3D. Using traditional “craft” materials, white clay and ceramic glaze, we created miniature paintings featured on a smooth white stoneware. Matted with archival paper and backing. Clear plastic protective sleeve and signed info card included.
Painted with high fire glazes and fired to 2,269 degrees, each stem design in the collection will be unique but still look cohesive if displayed in multiples. Arrange a single intaglio as a stand-alone piece of art, or make a statement with a grouping. Frame not included.
Frame Recommendations: Antique Gold, & Matte Gold Frame (order the that says 11x14)
Size: 16" x 20" Mat
Made of high fire ceramic stoneware and glazed with high fire glaze, then a low fire gold luster overglaze in 22K.
We recommend gently hand washing with a microfiber cloth as 22k gold is a soft, precious metal and harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning products can scratch it over time.
I recommend a dry environment away from extreme temperatures. Use soft microfiber cloth for dusting and wiping the glass.
Each piece is made of low fire clay and needs to be handled with care. Clean the inside and outside by laying the frame and gently wipe with microfiber cloth.
Jewelry pieces are made from clay with 22k gold luster accents, read the product listing to learn more about the jewelry chain or earring posts. Due to the nature of being made from clay they are fragile and should be handled with care. In order to ensure the longevity of each piece I recommend avoiding sleeping with, swimming with, or shower with the jewelry.
Sterling Silver Widow's Mite
While cleaning this piece be gentle with the 22k gold luster ceramic widow's mite coin that’s encased by sterling silver. Clean the sterling silver by rinsing well in clear hot water and hand-dry immediately and thoroughly. For silver that is tarnished, clean with a good quality silver polish and avoid "dip" polishes.
Diamond Meredith
This necklace is meant to be worn however we recommend taking it off if you are swimming, showering, or playing contact sports.
Clean the necklace by mixing a small amount of mild dish detergent with warm water in a bowl. Put the jewelry into the bowl and let sit for a few minutes, and then use a very soft, dedicated toothbrush to gently scrub the jewelry. Remove the necklace charm from soapy water, rinse it and dry thoroughly with a soft polishing cloth.
