It is finally feeling like spring here in Birmingham, and we could not be more ready (minus the thin layer of pollen coating EVERYTHING).
As we prepare for a variety of spring soirées, we are sharing a few simple crostinis that are sure to be in our rotation. Each crostini has just a few ingredients, layered on a crusty baguette - easy, but full of flavor (our favorite combination!).
Pimiento Goat Cheese + Bacon Crostini
Belle Chèvre pimiento goat cheese
Rustic baguette (we love local faves Birmingham Breadworks or Continental Bakery)
Thick cut bacon, cooked and crumbled (we love Conecuh)
Strawberry, Brie + Basil Crostini
Chopped fresh basil
Add a drizzle of local honey for a little extra sweetness
